Have a 2004 Springdale 28' fith wheel that bunched up and tore the carpet when the slide was put in. Looks to me like the slide itself does not close properly. The top of the slide hits first when closing leaving the bottom about 4 inches out before it closes. Has anyone else had slide issues like this, and if so, what had to be done to correct it? I don't think the slide was operating right from day one. I had to take all the carpet out to get the slide in.
