Took it home on a 70 mile drive along a flat newly paved highway at 60 mph. At low speeds I had no unusual sensations towing the trailer, but at 60 mph I kept feeling like the RSC was kicking in. No sway in the trailer, but I kept feeling a braking sensation followed by a gas pedal surge. I had the Haul/Tow button pushed in "ON". The brake gain was set at 2.5 by the Trailer dealer, after they took it for a test ride.

Almost feels like a slight "bucking" sensation. Is the Ford RSC working against my Blue OX stabilizer/equalizers?
Anyone else have this experince?
Thanks

ODS and DS lights? We had not even taken it out for the first time that we had to take it back to the dealer. It leaked at the outside grill when it rained. Water stood inside the grill encloser and leaked inside the trailer. One of the fabric blinds fell off the wall. We took it to the dealer, they said they fixed it. Outside grill still leaks, window blind is fixed. The trailer did ok the first trip out. 2nd time out, one of the jacks would not go up. Apparently they coat them from the factory with some type of paint/rubber. We worked and worked on it until we got it up enough so it would not drag going home. It's fixed now. We just do not know how the other 3 stablizers will be. This is the kicker. When we were bringing in the bedroom slide, we noticed a light at the floor, head of the bed. When inspecting it from the outside storage, we noticed the bed had come completely off from the wall at least six inches. Inspecting the wall we found there is nothing to screw to in the wall.
Another issue is a fabric blind will not tighten up. The screw in the wall has nothing to tighten up to just like the other blind that fell off the wall. The dealer said the factory did not have long enough screws.
We really do love our Cougar, not with all the issues. We have looked for a long time for the length and bedroom slide features. When we found this floorplan, it was the one for us. I hope the problems have ended!!!!

BoPeg

Water Pump Location? We really like the floor plan and the length and weight of the coach would work well for our tow vehicle (2007 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi) and favorite campgrounds. I have read many posts here that complain about Keystone quality and one post saying "COUGARS ARE CRAP". I have found through experiance that there may be a few problems with anything that you buy. This is why I have decided to buy new and be able to hold a dealers feet to the fire so to speak to correct any issues a new coach may have while still under warranty. I have never owned a new TT before but had an old 80's Shasta 20 footer a while back that we had a blast in. I might mention that we are buying this to use at least 4-6 weeks out of the year and plan to hold onto it for a while. I also mention that I'm a tractor trailer driver and know what bouncing around on the highway does to my cargo as well as my truck and trailers. My question to more experianced RV'S is are cougars REALLY crap quality(some posts might lead one to think that their cougar is going to fall apart!) or am I on the right track here thinking commonly small issues will come up with any TT. I'd like to hear from those who enjoy their cougar TT as well as others that have had probs....any and all appreciated....thanx...JOE
