We just bought our new 2010 Cougar X-Lite 28BRS. We had not even taken it out for the first time that we had to take it back to the dealer. It leaked at the outside grill when it rained. Water stood inside the grill encloser and leaked inside the trailer. One of the fabric blinds fell off the wall. We took it to the dealer, they said they fixed it. Outside grill still leaks, window blind is fixed. The trailer did ok the first trip out. 2nd time out, one of the jacks would not go up. Apparently they coat them from the factory with some type of paint/rubber. We worked and worked on it until we got it up enough so it would not drag going home. It's fixed now. We just do not know how the other 3 stablizers will be. This is the kicker. When we were bringing in the bedroom slide, we noticed a light at the floor, head of the bed. When inspecting it from the outside storage, we noticed the bed had come completely off from the wall at least six inches. Inspecting the wall we found there is nothing to screw to in the wall. Another issue is a fabric blind will not tighten up. The screw in the wall has nothing to tighten up to just like the other blind that fell off the wall. The dealer said the factory did not have long enough screws.
We really do love our Cougar, not with all the issues. We have looked for a long time for the length and bedroom slide features. When we found this floorplan, it was the one for us. I hope the problems have ended!!!!
